Kenney Engineering LLC is an electrical engineering consulting design firm specializing in MEP engineering as it relates to building systems design and construction. Led by principal Jeff Kenney, our small team of engineers and CAD drafters work to produce the highest quality documents possible, minus the hassle and bureaucracy associated with larger engineering firms. Flexibility and agility are our key strengths, allowing us to exceed our clients' expectations in regards to both delivery schedule, product choices and customization, as well as fully flexible contract terms.

Engineering Design Services
We provide bid- and construction-level engineering design documents for a large variety of facility projects. From schematic design through project close-out and record documentation, Kenney Engineering has you covered for whatever phase your project is currently in. Our focus is in electrical engineering, however we regularly partner with mechanical and plumbing engineering firms to provide a complete MEP design package. Our experienced AutoCAD and RevIt technicians provide drawing package deliverables of the highest quality.
Short-Circuit, Coordination, and Arc Flash
Kenney Engineering boasts over ten thousand hours of in-house experience in providing arc flash, short-circuit, and coordination analysis. Our hands-on approach means that we can personally survey equipment onsite, analyze and provide recommendations on settings changes for improved operation, provide a full analysis report, and then apply the code-required adhesive labeling to your electrical distribution equipment. Accustomed to the highly-complex fully-redundant power systems of the mission critical sector, no analysis is too big or too small.

Jeffrey Kenney, PE (Principal)
Jeff received his bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in 1999, followed by an MBA in 2007. Jeff obtained his Wisconsin professional engineer licensure in 2004, and subsequently has been licensed in (12) states.
His career started at Rockwell Automation / Allen Bradley, gaining experience designing a variety of electrical distribution equipment and controls, followed by the position of Supervisor of Facilities Engineering where he designed and implemented capital improvement projects for the Milwaukee headquarters campus.
After solidifying his base product and application knowledge, Jeff spent his next 12-years with Miller Engineering and then KW Mission Critical Engineering, leading an assortment of design projects ranging from small office renovations to nine-figure data center build-outs. Over those years, Jeff led dozens of mission critical infrastructure improvement projects, arc flash power studies, as well as an assortment of design projects in the healthcare, industrial, commercial, and retail sectors.
